Managing Director
Christopher W. Armstrong graduated City University, London, 1975 with a Bachelor of Science with Honors Degree in Civil Engineering. He worked in England as a tunneling engineer for two years, and returned to Barbados to work as a design engineer with D. M. Simpson and then Structural Systems Ltd. He started Contract Services Ltd. a company set up to do project management and design in 1986. In 1994 Shelbury Construction Inc., a subsidiary of Contract Services Ltd. was incorporated.
General Manager
Chris Alleyne joined Shelbury in February 2007. Chris was CEO of Sunbeach Communications for 6 years and brings over 20 years of administrative and general management experience to the company.
Senior Project Manager
Paul Allen graduated from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. After returning to Barbados he worked summer internships with Rotherley Construction, Structural Systems and Associated Consulting Engineers Ltd. Paul joined Shelbury Construction Inc. in 1996.
Junior Project Manager
Justin J. H. da Silva worked with Edghill Associates Ltd. as a Supervisor before departing for University in 2002. He graduated in 2005 from University of Nottingham with an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering. After graduating, he worked for Gleeds Management Services in London, England and Obrinlago C.A in Maracaibo, Venezuela as a Project Manager. Justin joined Shelbury Construction in July 2008.
Senior Foreman
Leslloyd Best has over 20 years
experience as a general foreman. He has been involved in all of our
major projects including the Pelican Village Project, Mantaray Bay,
Beach View and Ocean 2.
